Tech Aditya provides KaratDesk and operates this product website. Our business address is Siddharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India 272207. For privacy questions or requests, email 6677aditya@gmail.com.
This notice covers the website and information we handle for enquiries, licensing and support. Your use of third-party services is also subject to their own privacy notices.
2. Information involved in visiting or contacting us
- Website visits: the hosting and security infrastructure may process IP addresses, browser/device information, requested URLs, timestamps and operational logs to deliver and protect the site.
- Enquiries and support: when you email us, we receive your email address, name if provided, message and any attachments you choose to send.
- Paid licensing or refunds: we may request your store name, store activation ID, contact details, purchase/payment reference and the licence terms needed to issue activation or verify a transaction.
This website currently has no customer account system, payment-card checkout, advertising pixels or separate analytics scripts added by Tech Aditya. The download-agreement checkbox is held only in the current page state; it is not sent to us or stored as a server-side acceptance record.
3. Your local desktop records
KaratDesk stores business records locally, including information you enter about customers, staff, stock, invoices, purchases and payments. The store operator controls the device, user access and collection/use of those records. You are responsible for giving your own customers and staff any notices required for your business.
The website does not provide cloud synchronisation of your business database or automatically upload it to Tech Aditya. Desktop encryption keys use operating-system protection. Portable encrypted backups require a recovery passphrase. Device security, account access and tested backups remain important; encryption cannot eliminate every risk.
If you request support, share only what is necessary and redact customer information where possible. Do not email passwords, full payment-card details, database encryption keys, recovery passphrases or unredacted customer databases. Any need for access to business records must be separately discussed and limited to an agreed support purpose.
4. Why we use information
We use information to deliver and secure the website, respond to enquiries, provide requested support, issue or verify licences, process payments/refunds, maintain necessary business records and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use your local store records for advertising.
Where consent is required by applicable law, we will seek it for the specific activity. Contacting us for support is not consent to unrelated promotional messages.
5. Service providers, external links and cookies
This website is published using OpenAI Sites, with hosting/security infrastructure that may involve Cloudflare. Installer files and release pages are hosted on GitHub. Our listed support address uses Gmail. These providers may process connection, download or communication information, including outside India, according to their services and policies. We do not determine all of their infrastructure retention periods.
Our website code does not set marketing cookies or local-storage tracking identifiers. Hosting or external services may use their own essential storage, cookies or logs. Following a download or other external link takes you to that provider.
Provider information: OpenAI privacy policy, Cloudflare privacy policy, GitHub privacy statement, and Google privacy policy.
Optional online benchmark-rate features in the desktop app require a connection to a rate source. That source can receive normal connection information. Core local workflows do not require those online rates.
6. Retention, sharing and safeguards
We keep enquiry, support, licensing and transaction information only for the relevant relationship or request, reasonable record-keeping/security needs, and applicable legal/accounting requirements. The period depends on the type of record. You can ask about retention or request deletion using the email below; some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or disputes.
We limit access to information handled for these purposes and use reasonable safeguards. Information may be shared with service providers needed to fulfil a request, professional advisers, or authorities where lawfully required—not for unrelated advertising. No website, email system or device can be promised completely secure.
7. Requests, children and changes
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about our handling of your data, correction or deletion, withdraw consent where relevant, or raise a privacy complaint. Email 6677aditya@gmail.com with the subject “KaratDesk privacy request”. We may reasonably verify identity before acting. Withdrawal does not undo earlier lawful processing or eliminate legal retention obligations.
The product and website are intended for adult business users, not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.
We may update this notice when our actual practices change. The version date will change, and we will provide any further notice or consent required by applicable law. A policy update does not itself authorise an unrelated new use of previously collected information.
