1. Parties and review before use
This licence is between Tech Aditya, Siddharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India 272207, and the person or authorised business using KaratDesk. Contact 6677aditya@gmail.com with questions before purchasing or using it.
Review this licence and the Terms of Use before downloading/installing. If you do not agree, do not install or use the proprietary software. The website asks you to acknowledge these documents before following a download link; that acknowledgement is not a substitute for any acceptance process required for a separately issued licence or order.
2. Limited permission to use
Subject to the trial or paid entitlement issued for your store, Tech Aditya grants a non-exclusive licence to install and use the proprietary parts of KaratDesk for your lawful internal business operations. Software ownership is not transferred.
Your written licence/order defines any duration, authorised store/devices, invoice allowance and included support. Do not assume that a licence can be shared with unrelated businesses, transferred between stores or used beyond its stated allowance. Contact us about a legitimate transfer or replacement device.
3. Trial, activation and expiry
A newly configured store may receive a 14-day full-feature trial, subject to the version’s trial controls. Paid activation uses a store-bound licence. Activating the same store should preserve its records; take and verify a portable backup before important changes.
After expiry or a reached allowance, restrictions can apply to new activity. The app’s available read, export and backup options may also depend on the installed version and user permissions. Contact us if you need help preserving records. A website policy cannot restore a lost key or passphrase.
Do not bypass licence checks, alter entitlement records, share paid activation credentials or reset trials to evade payment. Offline licensing does not mean unlimited entitlement.
4. Restrictions and third-party rights
Except where applicable law or a component’s own licence permits it, do not sell or redistribute the proprietary app or activation credentials, remove ownership notices, impersonate Tech Aditya, or modify/circumvent security and licensing controls. Reverse-engineering restrictions apply only to the extent law permits.
Electron, database libraries, fonts and other third-party components retain their own copyright and licence terms. This agreement does not cancel rights granted by those licences. Public availability of a repository or release does not by itself grant additional rights to proprietary material.
5. Your records and security
Your store identity, logos and business records remain yours or their respective owners’. You are responsible for authorising staff access, lawful handling of customer/staff information, reliable devices and recovery arrangements. The Privacy Policy explains our website/support practices.
Keep encrypted portable backups off the original device and keep their recovery passphrase separately. Operating-system-wrapped keys are not a substitute for portable recovery. Never delete AppData or replace a key to unlock important records. Seek support first.
Encryption and access controls reduce risk; they cannot guarantee that malware, device compromise, mistakes or every form of tampering will be prevented.
6. Features, updates and support
Capabilities vary by published version and licence. Preview illustrations or announced improvements are not promises that an older installer includes them. Paid custom work, major upgrades, maintenance and installation services are included only when agreed in writing.
We will consider reproducible defect reports and provide reasonable assistance, subject to any agreed support terms. No guarantee of error-free operation or a particular business, tax or financial outcome is made. Mandatory legal warranties and remedies remain unaffected.
7. Refunds, termination and continued data ownership
Refunds follow the Trial & Refund Policy. Following a refund, stop using the refunded paid entitlement. If your licence expires or ends, you still own your records and should keep lawful copies and backups. We do not remotely erase your local database as a refund condition.
For a material licence breach, we may require you to stop unauthorised use, subject to applicable law and any required notice or opportunity to remedy. Ask us about available export/recovery options before changing an installation.
8. Legal safeguards and contact
The lawful liability, complaints and governing-law provisions in the Terms of Use also apply. Nothing here removes non-waivable consumer, privacy or other statutory rights. Separate written order terms can add specific paid entitlements but cannot remove mandatory protections.
